For the Xavier Prep Gators' last game before the postseason, they will take on the Hamilton Huskies on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m.

The Gators recently beat the Huskies in the Gilbert Volleyball Tourney in matches one and two, but have yet to play each other in the regular season thus far.

Although the Gators are No. 1 in the state, the Huskies are not far behind, coming in at No. 8 and holding a 9-5 record this year.

Xavier Prep has had an undefeated regular season and this will be the last regular season match to see if the team can keep it that way. On the other hand, Hamilton had an undefeated season in 2016 and lost its last regular season match to Xavier.

It seems as though Hamilton has lost a bit of that hype it had last year since the team dropped from No. 3 to No. 8. 

That being said, the Huskies may hold an advantage in this matchup having the contest at home and looking for a rematch, not only from games lost at the tournaments this year, but from last year's season ender.
