Phoenix Day School for the Deaf wins Western States

The Western States Basketball Classic was held this week at the Arizona School for the Deaf and the Blind (ASDB) with teams from Washington, Idaho, Utah and Oregon joining ASDB and Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (PDSD). ASDB and PDSD are both AIA affiliated programs competing at the 1A level.

The boys of PDSD won the championship 51-49 over Washington. The ASDB boys took fourth. The ASDB girls beat PDSD 19-16 to take third place.
