Josh Gershon of Scout.com (@JoshGershon) was the first to report the development via Twitter.

Simon, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound combo guard, is the No. 29 overall prospect in the 2015 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He averaged 17.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game as a junior at Temecula Valley, leading the Golden Bears to 26 wins and the Southern Section Division 1A quarterfinals.

The new U of A pledge earned an honorable mention nod on the MaxPreps Junior All-American Team.

247Sports.com's famed Crystal Ball also recorded picks for Kansas, Louisville and UCLA. He was rumored to be headed to national power Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) for his senior year but those plans may be revisited after the departure of head coach Jerome Williams.

Simon is Arizona's second 2015 commitment, joining five-star guard Tyler Dorsey of St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.).

Miller's incoming 2014 class is highlighted by MaxPreps National Player of the Year Stanley Johnson and juco star Kadeem Allen of Hutchinson College in Kansas. Allen, a 6-3 guard, was a MaxPreps All-American in 2012 after leading New Hanover (Wilmington) to the North Carolina 4A state title.
