So far for most schools there've been a few games here or there. East Valley and Scottsdale schools ramp up the pace  this week at the annual Bill Vanney Tempe Diablos Soccer Tournament at Tempe Sports Complex.

Thirty-two teams -- 16 boys and 16 girls  compete Monday through Wednesday and possibly Thursday and Friday as well. Hamilton's boys and Desert Vista's girls are the defending champions.

Here are the pools for each tournament and the Monday-through-Wednesday pool play schedule. Semifinals are to be determined for Thursday and the final for Friday. All matches are at the Tempe Sports Complex (8401 S. Hardy Drive).
