Tickets available through GoFan
Ticket sales for all AIA state championship events will be conducted digitally. Spectators can only attend events in the postseason by ordering their tickets online through the association's official partner GoFan. Click here to access GoFan's site and from there you will be able to select your championship event.

AZPreps365.com/NFHSNetwork.com Webcasting
Please note that live streaming rights of all postseason events are held by NFHSNetwork.com. Events broadcasted by AZPreps365.com and/or the NFHS Network are exclusive to those entities for postseason competition. If AZPreps365.com or the NFHS Network are not broadcasting, a school or third party may broadcast using the following three options:

NFHS Network School Broadcast Program broadcasting: If a school plans to stream a postseason event and has an NFHS Network School Broadcast Program account, it can stream through the NFHS Network.

NFHS Network Affiliate Program: A third party wanting to become an NFHS Network affiliate will be granted exclusive rights to a postseason event at no cost. The outlet must stream the event solely to the NFHS Network. The outlet may broadcast the event in its own manner and may keep its advertising. Outlet will also be eligibile for royalties. Any other means: Outside entities may be able to broadcast an NFHS Network "declined event" with non-exclusive rights. Permission must be granted through the AIA by completing a Media Rights Agreement and agreeing to rights fees. click here for agreement

Souvenir championship programs
Every AIA championship will feature a souvenir program to be offered online only. They can be viewed as a PDF or flipbook style. All programs can be downloaded and are for the most part available on the first day of the postseason for that sport. Click here to see this year's championship programs and also access the archive.

Conference Play-In Tournament

Note: Neutral site matches are subject to relocation. Factors include, but are not limited to: location of high seed, contractual obligations, broadcast commitments, seating capacity and travel considerations of participating schools.

State Tournament Qualifying

6A, 5A, 4A (16-team bracket): In order to qualify, a school must have played a minimum of 12 matches. Teams ranked No. 1 through No. 8 will earn an automatic bid to the state tournament. The conference play-in tournament will match up teams ranked No. 9 through No. 24. Teams ranked No. 1 through No. 8, along with the eight winning teams from the conference play-in tournament, will make up the 16-team state tournament. The state tournament bracket will be seeded according to overall ranking of the 16 teams. The state tournament will consist of four rounds and be single elimination.

  • 6A, 5A, 4A: Teams ranked Nos. 1-8, and eight (8) conference play-in winners

3A (16-team bracket): In order to qualify, a school must have played a minimum of 12 power ranked matches. Based on region standings, the top two (2) teams in each region will earn an automatic bid at minimum to the conference play-in tournament except for the North Region. The two finalists in the North Region tournament will earn the region’s top bids to at minimum the conference play-in tournament. The conference play-in tournament will match up teams ranked No. 9 through No. 24. Teams ranked No. 1 through No. 8 according to the AIA rankings powered by MaxPreps, along with the eight winning teams from the conference play-in tournament, will make up the 16-team state tournament. The state tournament bracket will be seeded according to the overall ranking of the 16 teams. The state tournament will consist of four rounds and be single elimination.

  • 3A: Teams ranked Nos. 1-8, and eight (8) conference play-in winners
 
2A (16-team bracket): In order to qualify, a school must have played a minimum of 12 matches. Based on region standings the top two teams in each region will earn an automatic bid at minimum to the conference play-in tournament, except for the North and Valley regions. The two teams in the North and Valley region tournament finals will earn the region's two bids to at least the play-in tournament. The conference play-in tournament will match up teams ranked No. 9 through No. 24. Teams ranked No. 1 through No. 8, along with the eight winning teams from the conference play-in tournament, will make up the 16-team state tournament. The state tournament bracket will be seeded according to overall ranking of the 16 teams. The state tournament will consist of four rounds and be single elimination.
  • 2A: Teams ranked Nos. 1-8, and eight (8) conference play-in winners

1A (16-team bracket): In order to qualify, a school must have played a minimum of 12 matches. Based on region standings, the top team in each region will earn an automatic bid to the state tournament. The four (4) Super Regional champions will also earn an automatic bid, if different than the region champion. Remaining teams will be added to the state tournament bracket based on AIA rankings powered by MaxPreps. The 16 teams will be seeded according to AIA rankings. The state tournament will consist of four rounds and be single elimination.
