September 9, 2014 by MaxPreps, AZPreps365

Allen continues to have a strong grip on the top spot in the MaxPreps Southwest Region Football Computer Rankings as the Eagles rank nearly 10 points higher than second-place Cedar Hill.

The rankings featured four new teams this week, all from Texas, with Horn (Mesquite) entering at the highest spot at No. 18. Kingfisher, a small school in Oklahoma, made the biggest jump of the week, going from No. 23 to No. 14.
