Yuma high school legend Curley Culp recently received the call he’d been waiting for from Pro Football’s Hall of Fame committee.

On Saturday, he’ll get another call from a crew that can’t wait to talk to Culp.

The fun bunch, Jim Grieshaber, Craig Grialou, Kandace Hurdle and Pablo Rios of the Arizona Sports Preps 365 show on 620 AM, are scheduled to talk to Culp during Saturday’s show. In August, Culp will enter Pro Football’s Hall of Fame, joining Avondale’s Randall McDaniel as the only former Arizona high school athletes in football's Hall of Fame.

A couple of local big-time coaches also will be interviewed during Saturday’s radio show from 9-11 a.m., including Corona del Sol basketball coach Sam Duane, Salpointe soccer coach Wolfgang Weber and Grand Canyon University basketball coach Russ Pennell.

Besides 620 AM, high school fans can also listen to the Arizona Sports Preps 365 show on KCYK 1400 in Yuma, KVNA 600 and KVNA 104.7 in Flagstaff and KNTR 980 in Lake Havasu.
